“Nurturing Mental Wealth – Center of KANSEI Innovation Open Symposium 2016” was held on November 30, 2016 at UDX Theater in Akihabara, Tokyo..

At the open symposium this year, we presented the efforts and outcome of our R & D in the “Phase 1” period which is the first 3 years of the COI program (2013 – 2015) and the current status of development toward social implementation.

In the special lecture, Dr. Yoichi Motomura, Artificial Intelligence Research Center (AIRC), who is engaged in the research and development of user models at the Center of KANSEI Innovation, spoke about activities at the Center, a social implementation scenario of AI technology, and utilization of AI technology in society for the benefit of society, with a theme of “Probabilistic user modeling and co-creation of value based on KANSEI information in the age of IoT, big data and AI “.

We sincerely thank all those who participated in the symposium. We would like to utilize opinions and feedbacks provided for our activities in our R &D and future dissemination of information.

We would appreciate for your continuous kind support.

For those who were unable to join the symposium, we are planning to hold an open symposium in Hiroshima as well on January 31 in the coming year. We welcome you to participate in the symposium in Hiroshima.

Now entering into “Phase 2” stage of the program, we, the Center of KANSEI Innovation, are working even harder to accelerate our R & D.  All participating organizations will make a collective effort to produce results and give back wealth to society.
