On March 19, 2015, the Center of KANSEI Innovation received a visit from Mr. Keita Nakazawa, Deputy Chief of the Industry-Academia Collaboration and Area Support Division, Science and Technology Policy Bureau, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).

Takahide Nouzawa, Project Leader, and Shigeto Yamawaki, Research Leader, explained the projects and initiatives currently being carried out by the Center of KANSEI Innovation to Mr. Nakazawa. With many questions raised by the MEXT official about the visualization of “kansei” (perception and emotion), we had a lively discussion.

Mr. Nakazawa is the third visitor from the MEXT, after Mr. Nobuaki Kawakami, Director-General, Science and Technology Policy Bureau, and Mr. Tadao Kanda, Director for the Industry-Academia collaboration and Area Support Division, which we believe reflects the strong interest and expectations toward the Center of KANSEI Innovation. We will continue to strive to further facilitate our KANSEI research.
